the single panel top set within a frame and joined to scrolling everted flanges at either end, over a wide apron elaborately carved with a scrolling meander of leafing peony blooms, extending to shaped spandrels flanking rectangular section legs similarly decorated, the legs joined at the short ends by stretchers enclosing archaistic openwork brackets, and supported on shaped and further foliate-carved slab feet

Condition

Both everted flanges have been reattached. There has been general consolidation to the joinery. There are filled splits and repairs and possible replacements to the openwork panels, aprons and stretchers. The surface with expected wear. Please note that this lot will require a CITES permit for export outside of the United States.
