the ovoid body with four lug handles at the shoulder, applied with a white slip and painted in dark-brown with stylized bird motifs between double line borders
Condition
The glaze extensively stained and crackled with some areas of loss. The rim with losses to glaze, some shallow chips and an approx. 4cm rim crack. Old chips to the foot and surface wear throughout. Old label affixed to base reading: "Antiguedades KERTEUX, Buenos Aires".
