of broad conical form rising from a short flared foot to a gently inverted rim, applied with a rich, lustrous black glaze pooling in an irregular line halfway down the exterior, draining to subtle blue-green and russet hues at the rim, the unglazed buff-colored ware exposed at the lower portion of the exterior and foot

Condition

The bowl in sound condition but with minor firing imperfections (scattered burst glaze bubbles), chips to two thickly-pooled glaze drips at the exterior, and patches of adhered earth to the exterior glaze from burial.
