the globular body rising from a slightly flared foot to a short neck, incised with a narrow groove at the neck and shoulder, applied with four double-stranded loop handles, covered with a transparent white glaze toned slightly olive from firing stopping irregularly at the widest part of the belly to expose the fine buff body beneath, wood stand (2)

Purchased in Hong Kong, 1960s-1970s.

Condition

In overall fair condition with one handle replaced, expected wear to the surface (including two chips to the base (largest approx. 1.5 cm), and minor fritting to thin glaze.
