Comprising: a rivière necklace, composed of oval garnets in foil-backed settings, each inset with a seed pearl, length approximately 563mm, a pair of pendent earrings, hook fittings, and a pendant designed as a Maltese cross, fitted case.

Condition

Incised number 44568. Garnets are deep purplish-red, typical inclusions visible under magnification, some are surface reaching, surface scratches and small chips and nicks, some rubbed facet edges. Seed pearls of white body tone, typical blemishes and some loss of nacre. Mounts with surface wear such as scratching and dents, some colour discolouration around solder lines, some fine solder visible around hoops. Clasp closes securely. Overall condition good, commensurate with age and wear. earrings approx. 48mm, pendant approx. 61 x 53mm.
