The case pavĂ©-set with circular-cut rubies and rose diamonds, to a calibrĂ©-cut ruby suspension with pusher, opening to reveal a circular mirror, French assay mark.

Condition

Stamped with French assey marks for 18 carat gold. Estimated total ruby weight approximately 16.0-18.0 carats. Ruby colour ranging from pinkish-purple to dark red, transparent to translucent, with typical inclusions visible under magnification, stones with rubbed facet edges, small chips and some with surface reaching inclusions. Rose diamonds are bright and lively. Mirror with some black spotting and small scratches. Case opens easily. Metal with scratches, small dents and pits. Hinge with some light play. Light discoloration. Overall condition commensurate with age. Length approximately 37mm
