moulded after the models by Feodor Petrovich Tolstoy commemorating the Napoleonic Wars, the first inscribed in the paste 'Civil Uprising/ 1812', the second 'The Battle of Borodino/ 1812', both with green Imperial cypher of Nicholas II and dated 1912, both incised with initials P.Sh. (Cyrillic) for the moulder Pavel Shmakov

Condition

Excellent condition, the wood frames with abrasions. Please note the backs of both plaques are incised with initials P.Sh. (Cyrillic) for the moulder Pavel Shmakov, which was not noted in the printed catalogue.
