Description

oval, the front and back centred with an oval acanthus-framed cartouche with engraved initials AC or AS (Cyrillic), below shell and scroll cresting and flanked by shaped panels of raised chestnut leaves below a bound reed border, the gadrooned ends with acanthus scroll handles, four scroll feet, gilt interior, the glass liner with undulating cut border, 84 standard, with two smaller silver and glass bowls made to match, engraved with initials EW, and bearing spurious marks

Condition

The glass of one of the smaller bowls has been broken and professionally repaired, otherwise all three objects in good order.
