Provenance

Purchased by Emperor Nicholas II on 21 March 1909 for 275 roubles.  The invoice from Fabergé reads, in Russian, 'Kovsh nephrite matte finished gold 1/2 rouble Catherine II 66 rose [diamonds]'.
