Condition
There is a thin strip of painted wood attached to the bottom edge of the panel. There are frame abrasions with minor associated paint losses along the edges. There is a fine pattern of craquelure throughout, most noticeably on the shoulders and neck of the sitter. There is a layer of light surface dirt, with three small spots of household paint visible in the top left, top right corner and centre of the right edge. Inspection under UV light reveals no obvious signs of retouching. Held in a painted wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
