Condition

Executed on commercially produced canvasboard. The board has been cut from a larger piece and the top and left edges are slightly uneven. It is slightly bowed. There is a fine web of craquelure throughout the composition which at present appears stable. Minor paint losses are visible at the edges. There is a light layer of surface dirt. Inspection under UV light reveals no apparent signs of retouching. Held behind glass in a gilt wood frame. Unexamined out of frame.
