Condition

The sheet has been laid on cardboard which is splitting in the corners. The edges and corners are worn and there is a loss to the bottom left corner. There is a diagonal cut to the paper at the bottom of the right edge, In the lower left there are two small dents with minor associated paint loss. There are very fine cracks to the gouache, notably in two areas of table cloth and the red pigment of the sitter's blouse, as well to the wall to right of the window. There is a light layer of surface dirt. Held in a wooden frame behind glass. Unexamined out of frame.
