Condition
The top and bottom tacking edges have been strip-lined but the stretcher is original. The canvas is undulating and would benefit from retensioning. There is layer of surface dirt and the varnish layer has degraded. Inspection under UV light reveals no apparent signs of retouching. Held in a gold painted wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
