The canvas has been laid down on board. The varnish has discoloured and there is a layer of surface dirt. There is an area of discoloured restoration to the sky and a vertical area through the trees above the left-most swan. There are fine lines of craquelure notably to the impasto and a minor surface scratch to the left-hand edge near the frame. The opaque layer of discoloured varnish prevents a more conclusive examination, but UV light reveals possible areas of retouching in places to the foreground. Held in a gold painted frame. Unexamined out of frame. "In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above.
