Condition

Original canvas which is slightly slack on its stretcher. Stretcher bar marks are visible at all four edges and there is canvas rippling over the left and right stretcher bars. The canvas has buckled slightly in the lower left corner. There is a light layer of surface dirt and handling marks to the edges. There is a scuff below the centre of the left edge, possibly where pigment from another canvas has rubbed off. Further abrasions are visible in the lower left quadrant which have resulted in minor losses to the paint surface. Unframed.
