Condition
Original canvas on its original stretcher. There is a dent to the canvas at the centre of the left edge with associated craquelure. There are very fine cracks in places. There is a light layer of surface dirt with spots in places, most notably to the left of the figure and to the tights. Inspection under UV light reveals no obvious signs of retouching. Held in a gold-coloured wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
