  • approximately 471 by 336cm; 15ft. 5in., 11ft.
with inscriptions of couplets from a ghazal of Sa’di, with an addition of an unidentified couplet: inscription in one cartouche: fabrik-e jurab-chi, ‘Jurab-chi manufacture’, and in another cartouche: sefaresh-e saqat-forush, ‘Order of Saqat-Forush’

Condition

Overall measurements; 336cm across the top, 337cm across the bottom, 471cm the left hand side, 461cm the right hand side. Pile 4-5mm generally. Original triple banded side cords. Ends trimmed and secured. Overall very good condition.
