Description

  • Wool, pile
  • approximately 553 by 253cm; 18ft. 1in., 8ft. 3in.
the unusual design derived from a North Persian kilim

Condition

245cm across the top, 253cm across the bottom, 553cm the left hand side, 549cm the right hand side. Pile varies 1- 4mm, with some knotbars just appearing. Minor oxidisation to dark browns commensurate with age. Some surface marks on left hand border about half way down, so would benefit from a clean. Original flatwoven end finishes with trimmed fringes and now overlocked, original flat sidecords. Very pretty colouring and attractive design.
