Measurements: 142cm across the top, 140cm across the bottom, 274cm along the left edge, 266cm along the right edge.
Generally even 3-5mm pile overall, with areas down to foundation in areas. For example in the bottom right corner and across lower edge of main field. Across the width in two strips across the lower section, in the top right quadrant to main field and to small sections of the border, centre left and red inner border top left quadrant; all visible in the photograph. There is some pale blue repiling in lower right corner, to area of wear and a small hole and scatered amounts of minor re-piling elsewhere. There is some dark green added to areas where foundation visible in the strip across the width, through second rosette up the centre. There is a small reweave to third rosette down from the top, on the right hand side extending into the indigo (approximately 6 by 8cm).
With outermost end guard stripes re-woven with later flatweave fringing, with later side cords.
Very striking overall and good border design, with gorgeous rich indigo with subtle abrash and rich madder red colouration.
