Description

  • Wool, pile
  • approximately 279 by 135cm; 9ft. 1in., 4ft. 4in.

Condition

Overall measurements; 129cm across the top, 135cm across the bottom, 276cm the left hand side, 279cm the right hand side. Pile variable from approx. 4mm in right hand border down to knotbars with foundation visible. Areas of old re-piling, these are mainly visible as pinkish areas in the photograph. Appearance of rug would be improved if these were removed as they can be seen as areas of stronger coloured coral red and dark brown and pinkish beige throughout the carpet. The re-piling pomegranate motifs is particularly unsuccessful. Both end guard stripes have been removed. Good size with rare colour-way but needs professional attention.
