Condition

Overall measurements; 140cm across the top, 139cm across the bottom, 190cm the left hand side, 189cm the right hand side. Cream colour ground very attractive in reality and not so startling, in appearance as in the photograph. Evenly sheared, dense 1-2mm pile overall. Some old moth damage in outer guards only. Later side cords. Bias ribbon on reverse in corners and along ends. Flatweave and fringing on lower end and with losses at the top with fringing and flatweave lacking. For reference image upside down of orientation in catalogue. Striking classical design.
