Overall measurements; 306cm across the top, 304cm across the bottom, 428cm the left hand side, 430cm the right hand side.
Amazing condition for a silk carpet. Thick lustrous pile, even 3-4mm overall. Original side and end finishes. Some losses to fringing, all four edges stabilised with stitched cotton tape.
Beautiful crisp drawing with unusual ivory ground. A 'Masterwork' Kashan silk carpet, using exceptional quality materials. A fantastic example.
