Measurements: 289cm across the top, 288cm across the bottom, 318cm along the left side, 318cm along the right side. Very low pile generally and large areas of wear down to foundation, apart from a central section, where the pile is approximately 1mm. There is some pile in the lower left and right corners of the borders and along the lower edge of lower border. There is a small hole, centre of top border and a cut shaped section (11 by 8cm) in far edge of top right border (which needs some attention). Vertical narrow repile (36 by 1cm) in left side of lower border. Both ends have been cut, not overlocked, and with later passementerie machine ribbon fringing attached and loose in sections. Side cords reovercast and some sections lacking. Needs a very thorough clean. Condition is reflected in estimate.
