Condition
Overall measurements; 101cm across the top, 98cm across the bottom, 177cm the left hand side, 179cm the right hand side.
Pile overall 4-6mm with black/browns oxidised, minute areas of old moth damage down to foundation in the lower left corner and some further very minor examples in other areas. Original flatweave knotted fringing at both ends. Original double sidecords. Overall in remarkable condition, wonderful quality. A really exceptional example with absolutely beautiful colour. The date may read [AH] 1249 or 1269 (c1832 or 1852 AD).
