Condition

Overall measurements: 293cm across the top, 298cm across the bottom, 327cm on the left hand side, 329cm on the right hand side Pile generally good, dense, evenly sheared 2mm pile overall. Some minute areas where knot bars are visible, possibly old moth damage. Small reweave in right hand side of medallion, approximately 23cm long and about 1cm deep (possibly repiled fold wear, small repaired split, in lower right hand quadrant about 8cm long. Original end finishes with some losses to wool fringe and flatweave at upper end, now overlocked. Lower end with original banded flatweave and fringing, some losses to fringes. Overall in smart condition, ready to use. Bijar are very robustly woven, ideal for areas of heavy wear such as dining rooms.
