the first of circular form carved around the exterior with S-shaped motifs forming taotie masks and incised with keyfret on the upper rim, the base with an apocryphal mark, the rectangular inkrest with scrolling ends and keyfret along the upper edges

Condition

Both are in overall good condition. There are minute shallow nicks to the edges of both, the largest to one foot of the inkrest. There is also pitting, especially to the base of the brushwasher.
