Condition

The print is in good condition, with full margins. A small darker fox mark in the upper right margin corner. Pale fox marks in the lower margin. (A tiny fox mark near her shoulder at lower left and one in her hair.) Faint light- and mat-stain and some soiling. The verso with a few tiny scattered fox marks.

Catalogue Note

Baer notes that approximately ten impressions of this rare drypoint were printed. Three by Fort in 1930, before the plate was beveled, and fewer than seven by Lacourière circa 1955.
