Vol. VIII, Nos 33 et 34 (Cramer Books 25; Mourlot 117-146), the complete set of 29 lithographs, 1956 (2 books)

Condition

The etchings in generally good condition, the full sheets. Eleven sheets with some discoloration, presumably caused by the original interleaved tissue sheets and each with two pinholes at the top and bottom of the plate and associated spots of discoloration on the recto. All sheets with scattered, small fox marks and time-stain at the extreme edges. The versos in generally good condition, with scattered fox marks; one sheet with additional foxing. The book in good condition with some spots of faint discoloration on the cover. The paper on the slipcase splitting at corners. The lithographs in good condition, the full sheets. All sheets with faint time-stain at the edges, seeping in, and an occasional pale fox mark. The boards loosely attached to the bound pages; some wear to the paper-wrapping at the corners.
