Condition

The print is in good condition, with wide margins (Vallier lists sheet dimensions as 560 by 460 mm, the present sheet measures 560 by 442 mm). Faint light- and mat-stain. A few faint handling creases in the margins. A slight undulation to the sheet overall. Some inconspicuous spots of surface dirt. A tiny piece of tape adhered to the extreme upper right hand corner. A few minuscule fox marks visible upon close inspection in the margins. The verso in good condition. Sheet is very slightly toned overall and with handling creases visible under raking light.
