Condition

B. 55: Trimmed on or just within the borderline, backed on thin paper, a small made-up area at the lower left corner of subject (approx. 1 by 1 mm.), touched-in with pen and ink, a repair at the right sheet edge in the blank area (approx. 20 by 6 mm.), the upper sheet corners made-up with associated touchings-in in pen and black ink, a repair at the extreme lower right corner tip. B. 120: With thread margins, trimmed just within borderline at lower left, apparently in good condition apart from a repaired area (re-attached?) at lower left corner (approx. 28 by 25mm.), a repaired tear with associated touches of viscous black ink at the right sheet edge (approx. 22mm.), the gaps in the border line, and a few small unprinted areas in the subject (in the sky upper left and in the cloak of figure above Catherine and behind her neck) touched-in with pen and black ink, a nick at the right sheet edge, the print attached to the mount (a couple of central, horizontal printer's creases and the usual horizontal drying fold). B. 120: Trimmed on the borderline, laid onto the mount, a re-attached area (25 by 24mm.) and associated loss (25 by 28mm.) at the lower right sheet corner, a made-up area at the lower left sheet corner touched-in with pen and black ink (80 by 35mm.), the upper sheet corner tips made-up, the borderline touched-in with pen and black ink, a repaired tear extending from the left sheet edge (approx. 153mm.), some fox marks, lesser defects.
