Etching with drypoint, 1641, a fine, delicate impression of New Hollstein's second state (of four), before the posthumous rework and the scratch behind St. Philip's head, on paper with an Arms of Amsterdam watermark
Condition
With thread margins, the corners of the sheet made up and touched in with pen and ink, three repairs at the right sheet edge (the longest measuring approx. 3cm), further shorter nicks at the sheet edges, a diagonal crease (or supported tear) in the unprinted area at the upper right of the image, other minor defects, unframed.
