Etching with engraving, 1635, a very good impression of New Hollstein's fourth state (of five)

Condition

Trimmed on the plate mark, retaining a blank strip at the lower edge, the sheet backed, the edges touched-in in places with pen and ink to simulate a borderline, several repaired tears touched-in with pen and ink (the longest extending from the left sheet edge to the spear blade of the figure to the left of Christ), further repaired tears in the sky at upper left, one to the right of Christ's face, two further repaired tears extending from the right sheet edge, a printed area at lower left varnished (?), areas of thinning visible in the original sheet when held up to the light, lesser defects, unframed.
