Etching with extensive hand-colouring in watercolour, 1944-45, signed in pencil, Kornfeld's third (final) state, from the edition of 30 hand-coloured impressions (there was also an earlier edition of 20 without hand-colouring), on wove paper, published by Pierre Matisse Editions, framed
Condition
The full sheet (a deckle edge at each side) the blue somewhat attenuated, in generally good condition, a small pigment loss to the sun in the lower part of the image, a very faint scuff below the sun, some minor foxing and traces of staining at extreme sheet edges, three faint tape stains and slight discoloration verso, framed.
