Condition

This photograph, on semi-glossy paper, is in generally excellent condition. A few deposits of original retouching are visible in raking light. In the margins, there are several handling creases, sharp creases in the upper left corner which appear to break the emulsion, and small areas of emulsion loss in each corner. There are tiny chips to the emulsion along the upper and lower margin edges. None of the above intrudes upon or affects the image. The reverse is soiled in a few places and there are hinges remnants at the upper corners. There are several Czech inscriptions and 'remembrance of J.V. Bromlich' is written by the photographer in pencil. '6,' 'L 77:549:12,' '6-40,' '20049,' and 'GEH Neg. 19483' are written in an unidentified hand in pencil.
