Condition

This hand-coated platinum print, with an overall pleasing blue tonality, is in generally excellent condition. It is trimmed to the image and there are very small wispy white areas at the corners where there was no application of the platinum emulsion. Only visible upon extremely close examination are scattered pin-point-sized impressions and small faint scratches, some of which may break the emulsion slightly. These are hard to discern and do not detract in any way from this lovely, highly detailed platinum print. The photograph is mounted to grey card that measures 5-1/4 by 7 inches. It is then mounted again to larger grey card that measures 11 by 13-1/4 inches. There is edge wear to the secondary mount, and the corners are rounded and chipped.
