Condition

This print, on double-weight paper with a slight sheen and printed with thick black margins, is in generally excellent condition. There is a 1/4-inch yellow deposit of indeterminate nature at the middle of the lower edge of the image. The margin is slightly silvered, and there are a few tiny yellow and white deposits. The following is visible in the margins under close inspection: a 3/4-inch crease at he right edge; a 1/2-inch crease with attendant loss of emulsion; a fingerprint at the left edge; a fox mark in the upper margin; and a few scratches. As characteristically seen in Evan's prints from the period, there are small clamp impressions in the black margins from processing. There is minor margin edge and corner wear. The reverse is slightly soiled. 'L-151' and '13' are written in an unidentified hand in pencil. When examined under ultraviolet light, this print does not appear to fluoresce.
