Condition

This work is comprised of two prints, the second with two negatives printed on one sheet. The prints are on double-weight paper with a surface sheen and are joined vertically. The diptych has not been examined out of its handmade driftwood frame, but it appears to be in generally very good condition. The collaged images, at the top and bottom, appear to have been glued on, and there are small pieces of transparent tape anchoring them. There are 2 handling creases visible in the lower portion of the left print. These do not appear to break the emulsion. It is dedicated '2 B & L, epic (Xmas 2006) and New Years, Peter (Beard), Box 4191 Nairobi' in blue ink at the upper edge. The ink notation on the South Lake Framing Company, Montauk, label reads: 'Red oak beach stake with poplar filet . . . 2.2007.'
