This platinum print, with a slightly brown tonality, is in overall excellent condition. There is a small disruption to the left of the sitter's face that appears to be in the negative and not a feature of the present print. There is a very small area of chipping at the lower right edge.
The debossed mount has a few faint stains, occasional tiny fox-marks, and is slightly yellowed at the perimeter. There is a small tear to the mount near the lower left corner of the photograph. On the reverse of the mount are tape remains along the upper edge. 'RMG 1278.18,' 'POC #361,' '361.' '046,' '1,' and 'M' (encircled) are written in pencil in an unidentified hand on the reverse of the mount.
