A l’oeil nu : Les deux tableaux apparaissent dans un état de conservation satisfaisant. Les deux se présentent toujours sur leur châssis d’origine. L’un a fait l’objet d’un rentoilage, l’autre avait également fait l’objet d’un rentoilage mais a été détoilé et se présente maintenant sur sa toile d’origine. Les deux tableaux ont fait l’objet d’un nettoyage relativement récent, correctement réalisé. La préparation d’origine des deux tableaux est un peu trop légère et rend visible la trame de la toile. On remarque à l’arrière de l’œuvre sur sa toile d’origine, trois petites pièces de toile restaurant trois légers accidents anciens. A la lampe U.V. : Les tableaux apparaissent sous un vernis vert uniforme. Concernant l’œuvre sur sa toile d’origine, on remarque des restaurations au niveau des petites pièces de toile signalées précédemment. To the naked eye : Both paintings appear in satisfactory condition. Both are still on their original stretcher. One of them has been relined, and the other one was also relined but has been unlined formerly and is now on its original canvas. Both paintings have been correctly cleaned quite recently. The original preparation on both paintings is quite light, so the canvas’ weave is now visible. We notice on the back of the painting still on its original canvas, three small canvas pieces restoring three little old tears. Under U.V. light : The paintings appear under a green uniform varnish. On the painting still on its original canvas, we can notice some restorations on the old restored tears already mentioned.
