Description

  • 20in long, 46oz, 9 dwt
with twisted gadrooned border, surrounded with beads and four acanthus leaf motives, the four lobes alternating with trefoil cartouches embossed with cherubs and scrolls, the stand chased with five rosettes on matted ground, three of them embossed with beaded frames, on four paw feet

Condition

In overall good condition, legible marks in the centre rosette. Date letter B stamped. Usual scratches, gilding very slightly worn at some places. Two small tears on the border, one foot slightly bumped. Impressive size, probably made for liquors (possibly three bottles and two glasses) Very nice quality.
