Catalogue Note

Les armoiries sont celles de la famille Maynard pour Charles Maynard, 6ème baron Maynard (1690? 1775) qui fut créé vicomte Maynard of Easton Lodge. Le frère de Charles, Grey Maynard, (1679? 1745) devint le 5ème baron Maynard en 1742 et fut un fidèle client de Paul de Lamerie. C'est lui qui commanda à cet orfèvre le fameux Maynard's dish.
