Condition
The canvas has a firm relining, the varnish is clear and even, and there are no major damages visible to the naked eye. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals a handful of old minor restorations and retouchings scattered thorughout, the most concentrated area of which is in the dark tones of Christ's cloak below his bound hands, to what is probably an old crease or seam. In seemingly good overall condition. Offered in a painted and gilt wood frame in good condition.
