Condition
The canvas has been relined, the paint surface is clean and the varnish is even. There is a small loss in the lower left corner. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals some minor retouching along the left, right and upper right margins, just above the horse's head and below its neck, and some minor strengthening around some parts of the horse's profile. In overall very good condition. Offered in a later parcel gilt frame in very good condition.
