Condition

The canvas has been relined, somewhat flattening the paint surface, which is slightly dirty, with a clear and even varnish. There are two small losses in the branches of the trees, upper right, and in the upper left corner, which have been retouched, as well as a few more spot retouchings to previous tiny losses in the sky, centre. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals a milky varnish, but the aforementioned retouchings, as well as areas, lower left in the foreground and along the lower margin, fluoresce. In overall good condition.
