Condition

The canvas has been relined. The paint surface is clean. There is some subtle retouching to the sitter’s dress, left hand and shoulder visible to the naked eye. Ultra violet inspection reveals extensive retouching to the figure and, to a lesser extent, the background. Overall the picture is in good condition. Offered in a carved wood frame in good condition.
