Condition
The panel is relatively flat and has been marouflaged, with cradling on both sides and the top edge. The paint surface is clean however the colours seem to have slightly faded over time. To the naked eye there is some visible retouching to the right-hand margin, to the blue drapery and to the berries. Ultra violet inspection reveals a thick layer of varnish as well as further retouching to the right-hand margin. Unfortunately the varnish makes it difficult to discern and further restoration. The work is offered in a carved wood frame in very good condition.
