Provenance
In the family of the present owners for at least two generations.
Condition
The paintings are in overall very good condition. The panels are uncradled, flat and stable. The paint surfaces are relatively clean and the varnishes are quite clear but slightly dulled. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals in the painting of the goldfish an area of retouching between the prawns and the lobster, measuring approx. 2 by 3 cm., as well as scattered small retouchings in the table, in the mirro,r and upper left. In the latter painting with the ham, there is a small retouching, approx. 1 by 1 cm. in the salami, but little other intervention. Offered in later plain carved wood frames in very good condition.
