Condition
In overall good condition. The two paintings are on single plank panels, which are uncradled, flat and stable. The paint surfaces are relatively clean and the varnishes are very slightly discoloured. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals a handful of small retouchings scattered in both paintings, notably in the upper left corner of the latter, beside the silver cup. There is also restoration to a small loss in the centre of the upper margin in the former, and to losses in the centre of the mirror and in the lower right corner in the latter painting. There is also some strengthening to the dark backgrounds of both works. Offered in modern wood frames with egg-and-dart carved borders.
