Condition
In overall good condition. The panel is formed of a single plank, which is cradled, flat and stable. The paint surface is clean and the varnish is clear and even. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals fine lines and small spots of retouching throughout the sky along the wood grain, and a longer line of horizontal retouching, approx. 10 cm. long, extending into the sky from the right of the tree, but the foreground remains largely untouched. Offered in a plain ebonised wood frame in very good condition.
