Condition

In overall good condition. The panel is formed of a large, single, uncradled plank, which is bowed. The paint surface is clean and the varnish is clear and even. The paint surface and impasto brushwork is well-preserved. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals very few, small retouchings, namely scattered along the left margin, in the foliage centre, upper left and upper right, and around the statues in the fountain, lower right. Offered in a plain ebonised wood frame in very good condition.
